SSR Mode S ground station

Secondary Surveillance Radar (SSR) Mode S is an air traffic control radar system with improved surveillance and datalink capability. European states are preparing to use the new Mode S technologies such as Downlink Aircraft Parameters (DAPs) and ground station coordination. To prepare for the future use of the technologies in Japan, ENRI has developed an SSR Mode S ground station and is performing test monitoring of real aircraft.
