- Air Traffic Management Department: The Air Traffic Management Department researches trajectory based operations, development of ATC supporting system and safety assessement of airspace.
- Navigation systems Department: The Navigation Systems Department researches aviation traffic control and navigation support using satellite navigation systems
- Surveillance and Communications Department: The Surveillance and Communications Department researches aircraft surveillance, communication technologies and the issues outside the jurisdiction of other departments
- International Standardization Center: The International Standardization Center collects, accumulates, and provides international standardization information to promote industrial development and meet social neesd by utilizing its research results.
- Iwanuma Branch: The Iwanuma Branch is responsible for our experimental aircraft, facilities and equipment at Sendai Airport, which is the base for our experiments.
